Project management database: successful tool spreads all over Europe
Starting from 2002 the INTERREG Secretariats located in Rostock and Riga developed a unique project management database to manage territorial cooperation programmes. In the new programming period 2007 – 2013 several cross-border, transnational and interregional programmes expressed intent to use the database in their workflow.
Rostock office organised the first meeting for interested programmes in summer 2007 and provided general introduction to the database system. The “2nd Territorial Cooperation Database Workshop” took place in Vienna on 3 December 2007. Twenty colleagues from seven programmes from all three INTERREG strands (e.g. Alpine Space Programme, Central Europe Programme, INTERREG IVC and the Northwest Europe Programme) as well as representatives from ESPON took part in the meeting. Participants exchanged experience on e.g. the application forms and new technical features. The next meetings are scheduled for January 2008 in Riga and February 2008 in Lille.
