Presentations from the workshop for finalising projects in Riga
40 lead partners, project managers, financial managers from 20 projects and secretariat staff met in Riga on 30 November 2011 at the workshop for finalising projects.
Financial issues, filling in the final progress report, communication and experience in reporting were on the agenda. Participants also gave their recommendations for the future programme. Main issues were:
- Reporting forms could be simplified.
- Division of project budget into Budget Lines & Work Package is not convenient. Division of budget into Work Packages could be avoided.
- Reporting periods could be extended to 12 months to reduce administrative burden, activity and financial report could be separated. Bigger organisations prefer longer reporting periods.
- Calculation of overheads could be based on the flat rate.
Recommendations will be taken into account when preparing the next programme for 2014-2020.
