Certifying Authority

The Certifying Authority (CA) manages the financial flows between the European Commission, the Programme (Managing Authority and Joint Technical Secretariat) and the projects. The CA assures that the funds distributed are in line with all EU regulations relating to the Programme. Next to first level control of projects and second level control of the Programme by the Audit Authority, the CA is the third level of control for the correct distribution of ERDF and ENPI funds by the Programme. The CA is hosted by Investitionsbank Schleswig-Holstein (IB.SH).
