DTU Aqua, Section for Aquaculture, Hirtshals, Denmark offers a training course in Salt Water Recirculation Aquaculture Technology from Saturday 5th - Wednesday 9th October 2013.

The course is addressed to participants from the Baltic Sea Region and is part of project Aquabest of the Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007-2013.

Aim:
The primary aim of the course is to transfer knowledge on recirculation aquaculture technology to fish farmers in the Baltic Sea region.

Target group:
The course is targeted at consultants and representatives of core aquaculture organizations within the region, in order for them to disseminate the acquired knowledge to local fish farmers and to stimulate establishment of new recirculation aquaculture companies.

Within the framework of the „Transport and Logistics 2013 Trade Fair & Congress" in Minsk, Belarus Amber Coast Logistics organizes a Coaching Seminar to foster the best practice-exchange in transport and logistics among Belarusian stakeholders.

The Coaching Seminar will take place from October 8-10 on the fairground. Chairmen of the event are Axel Mattern, executive board member of Port of Hamburg Marketing, and Yury Aliakseyeu, General Director and Vice-Rector for Production Activities of Scientific and Technological Park BNTU "Polytechnic".

The seminar provides a forum for specialists in different areas of logistics and transport to push interaction and knowledge transfer and stimulate mutual understanding and awareness for individual and common challenges.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to the following:

Prospects of the development of multimodal transport chains in Belarus and in the Baltic Sea region (BSR) countries: Belarus, Germany, Poland, Denmark, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia
Ways to improve the transport chains of cargo flows between Belarus and the BSR
Estimation of logistics services and current requirements for logistics centers
Information systems for the transport and logistics sector; software and automation of the logistics sector
R&D in logistics and personnel training
