BALTADAPT - Strategy workshop "Towards a macro-regional climate change adaptation strategy for the Baltic Sea Region"
The EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EU BSR Strategy) calls for the development of a "regional adaptation strategy at the level of the Baltic Sea Region".
The Baltadapt project was developed as a response to this priority in the EU BSR Strategy and is today on its way developong a Baltic Sea Region wide climate change adaptation strategy.
Our strategy workshop "Towards a macro-regional climate change adaptation strategy for the Baltic Sea Region" will bring together different projects working on climate change adaptation in the Baltic Sea Region and beyond, representatives from relevant regional networks as well as research experts to discuss the outline and content of a future macro-regional climate change adaptation strategy.
The workshop will take place in Helsinki, Finland on 17 January 2012, in conjunction with the BaltCica final conference and the the 3rd internal Baltadapt partner meeting.
