109 projects passed admissibility check
The Secretariat has finished admissibility check of 110 project applications received in the 1st call. One application was found inadmissible. Eligibility of the Lead Applicants is still being checked by the national authorities.
Now the project & finance officers are performing a quality assessment. The Monitoring Committee will decide on approval of the project applications and on the opening of the 2nd call for project applications on 23-24 October 2008 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
During the admissibility checks submission requirements, programme's minimum requirement on transnational approach and Lead Applicant eligibility will be checked. Quality assessment is carried out on the basis of quality criteria and additional quality features. The quality assessment is performed only if the project application passed the admissibility check. The admissibility criteria, the quality criteria and the additional quality features are presented in chapter 9.3. of the Programme Manual.
